For nearly five decades, Apex Sports Surfaces has been designing, manufacturing, and delivering
high-performance sports infrastructure trusted by athletes, institutions, developers, and governments across India and beyond.
Our journey began in 1978, when Shri Prabhudayal Jangid founded Bhagwati Woodcraft in Mumbai, specializing in premium sports wooden flooring. What started as a commitment to craftsmanship has grown into a third-generation family enterprise that has helped shape India's sports infrastructure industry.
A dedicated padel division is established, manufacturing internationally engineered Standard, Panoramic & Super Panoramic padel courts.
2021 - SMI Padel
2020 - Sports Master International
The Group launches Sports Master International (SMI) to strengthen its presence in outdoor sports infrastructure across India and global markets.
2018 - Global Partnership
Apex partners with DOMO Sports Grass (Belgium), bringing internationally certified artificial turf systems to India.
2009 - Apex Sport Surfaces is Born
Sunil Kumar Prabhu Dayal Jangid launches Apex Sports Surfaces, expanding the family legacy into certified sports flooring & complete sports infrastructure solutions.
Shri Prabhudayal Jangid establishes Bhagwati Woodcraft in Mumbai, specializing in premium sports wooden flooring and laying the foundation for decades of craftsmanship.
